Freightools is built for freight forwarders who run their pricing and customer relationships on it. Your tariffs, contracts, customer rates, and quotes live inside your Freightools workspace and are used to run your business — not anyone else’s.
Data separation and workspace boundaries
Each organization’s tariff library and rate data are private to that organization. We never share carrier data, customer rates, or quoting history across customers. The data one forwarder loads is not visible to another.
Access control and roles
Access to quoting, rate management, and oversight is scoped by role. Managers control which lanes, customers, and tiers can self-quote; below-floor pricing requires manager approval; and leadership oversight tools surface activity through role-based views rather than open access for everyone.
AI usage boundaries
Freightools’ AI specialists (Tari for tariff extraction, Miles for quoting) operate on your own carrier agreements, contracts, and margin rules — not the open web. They are scoped to the data in your workspace and the rules you define.
Human review and operational auditability
Tari is designed for human review, not blind trust: every extracted field links back to the source clause so an operations reviewer can confirm or correct it. Every Miles quote stores its inputs and the carrier records used, so any quote can be re-opened to see exactly how the number was assembled.
Integrations and data exchange
Freightools sits on top of the systems you already run rather than replacing them. Quotes can be exported, emailed, or pushed to your existing TMS / booking flow, and spot data can be brought in via API or manual entry where available.
